When equipped with the V6 and manual transmission, the Wrangler achieves an EPA-estimated 17 MPG city and 23 MPG highway. Models with the four-cylinder and automatic transmission bump fuel economy up to 20 MPG in the city and 23 MPG on the highway. But where the Wrangler really shines is off the beaten path. With standard part-time four-wheel drive, high air intakes, and protective skid plates, the Wrangler is engineered to conquer the toughest trails. The Rubicon trim turns up the capability even further with front and rear locking differentials, an electronic disconnecting front sway bar, and an upgraded 4:1 low transfer case gear ratio.
